A Single Set Of Instructions

The inherent flexibility of the Johnson underfloor heating element makes it suitable for all applications. Whether installing under carpets, timber, ceramic tiles or vinyl, there is only a single set of instructions to follow.

Separate Cold Lead

With Johnson, the cold lead is a separate component from the heating element. As a single cable it can be quickly and easily installed before the walls are lined or pulled into the wall using a draw wire. Also, as the cold lead is connected to the element at a position which is convenient for the installer there is no need to chisel channels into a concrete or timber floor for the cold lead - it is always only located in the wall leaving no cold spots on the floor.

Wide Floor Coverage Range

Each Johnson heating element can cover a wide range of areas making it easy to manage unexpected changes in the design of the room - changing the shape of a bath or using a wall mounted vanity, for example.

Repair Kit Included

In the unlikely case of accidental damage - drilling a door stop through the floor, for example - the installation monitor will sound an alarm. The element can then be quickly, safely and reliably repaired using the included kit without affecting the standard 10 year guarantee.

Fix Once, Fix Right & Save Time

Traditional fixed length multi-stranded floor heating elements cannot be cut at any time. So, in the likely event that there is too little or too much cable left, the installer must lift and reposition every single run to ensure a consistent level of power across the floor. This inconvenience complicates and lengthens the process for installers.

Instead, the Johnson heating element can be trimmed during the final stages of the installation for a perfect fit - installers save time and can work with confidence whilst customers are left with a consistent level of heat across the floor every time.

Construction Site Friendly

Floor covering professionals can begin work straight away. Where a cable embedment is used, work can begin the next morning. The cables can also withstand light foot traffic during installation (make sure the monitor is connected). Superior materials and design negate the flaws of more fragile products.
